Crossroads Chemists is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Edison, NJ
MUST KNOW MICROMERCHANT. We're looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our Pharmacy Department as a Pharmacy Technician. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a medical setting and have experience interacting with patients. Responsibilities include working directly with patients and physicians to administer medications, creating and maintaining inventory and troubleshooting in-store systems.
Responsibilities:
- Fill in customer information on computer system.
- Take a customer's prescription and enter it into the computer system.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Greet customers and be friendly and helpful.
- Follow instructions from Pharmacy Technicians or Pharmacists.
- Answer customer questions as they relate to medications or other health concerns.
- Prepare medication labels according to the exact directions of a pharmacist.
- Use a calculator to add up the correct dosage of medication for the patient.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
